Noise is a significant health hazard for fish harvesters. Chronic exposure to hazardous noise levels from diesel engines can have adverse health impacts, including noise-induced hearing loss, stress, hypertension, sleeping disorders, and impaired cognitive performance.
The HyMarine™ system is 50% or 3dB quieter than the average commercial vessel diesel engine. This relief from hazardous noise levels helps fishers avoid health issues.
